Atchison
The Atchison Center is located thirty minutes from St. Joseph, Missouri, 20 minutes from Leavenworth, Kansas, and only 40 minutes from the Kansas City International Airport. The Atchison Center is not only the home of the HCC Technical Center, but also offers a variety of general education courses for the student working on an Associate degree. Courses in English, psychology, biology, anatomy, and algebra generally begin from 3:00 to 6:00 in the evenings and on Saturday. There is a variety of occupationally related courses offered in the evening as well. Students can enroll in Computer Aided Drafting courses (CAD), allied health courses such as Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Certified Medication Aide (CMA), and IV Therapy. Our class sizes are small; our student teacher ratio is 10 to 1. A student has the opportunity to work full time and take college courses at night.

Current News
Registration Day for all Atchison students is Wednesday, January 11 from 11:00 am until 7:00 pm. Students who have not previously paid for the upcoming semester courses are required to attend registration day, make payment, and receive textbooks. Students who have paid their account online prior to January 11 do not have to attend registration day and may arrive early the first day of spring semester classes to receive textbooks. Financial aid representatives and academic advisors will be on hand at Atchison on registration day to answer all questions and assist with enrollment.
Enrollment is currently open for all Atchison Center students.
