1 Can classes taught via the Internet be taken at the same time regular classes are taken in the classroom?

Yes, both types of classes can be taken at the same time. However, anything over 18 credit hours in one semester must be approved by the Vice President of Student Services.

2 Can more than one class be taken at a time?

Yes, more than one course, either online or traditional classroom courses, can be taken at one time. But, anything over 18 credit hours in one semester must be approved by the Vice President of Student Services.

3 How do I get course materials?

Each instructor will be responsible for getting materials to the students.

4 How do I pay tuition and fees?

Tuition and fees must be paid at the time of enrollment. That will be provided as an option in IQ Web when you complete the online enrollment. Payment is made with a credit card or debit card.

5 How do I purchase textbooks?

Textbooks must be purchased for our online courses. This information can be reviewed on the HCC Online page.

6 How do I use the library from a distance?

You can access online databases from Highland.

7 Is Financial Aid/Scholarships/Awards available for HCC OnLine?

8 Is there a regular meeting time for class?

Usually there is not a regular meeting time for class. You may do your coursework 24/7.
