Academic Department Awards
Institutional scholarships and awards are primarily reserved for Kansas students attending classes on the main campus in Highland. Students attending the technical center and living on campus or with parents/guardians in Doniphan County are also eligible for institutional awards. Scholarships are not valid for online classes, whether or not a student is living on campus.

Athletic Awards
Athletic Scholarships pay for books and tuition and are renewable each semester provided the student-athlete meets all GPA and participation requirements set forth by the Kansas Junior College Athletic Association, HCC, and the coach.
• Minimum 2.0 GPA each semester
• Meets all requirements set forth by the instructor

HCC Foundation Awards
The HCC Foundation Scholarship is designed to recognize and reward students who have excellent academic and personal accomplishments. This prestigious award pays for Kansas tuition, fees, book rental, and campus housing.
• Minimum of a 3.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale
• Minimum 22 composite ACT score
• Minimum 22 composite ACT score

Technical Center Awards
Students living on the main campus at HCC or with parents/guardians in Doniphan County may receive scholarships/awards to attend the Technical Center for the following:
• Full Time Tech Center Students-$1000 per semester
• Full time students, part-Time Tech Center and part
time on campus-$500/semester towards Technical
Center classes and $500 toward general education
classes taken on the main campus.
